• Archyv no longer opens to only the Help window on macOS Sonoma and Sequoia after a force quit, crash, or restart with "Reopen windows" enabled. The first launch of this update clears the stuck state on its own.
• Metadata edits on video files now stick everywhere. Where a video carries the camera's own copy of a field, Archyv updates it alongside its own, so capture-date corrections and other edits show correctly in VLC, Plex, Jellyfin and Windows File Explorer.
• Clearing a location on a video now actually removes the coordinates. Previously the log reported success while the coordinates stayed on the file.
• Metadata Editor: removing a coordinate clears the map pin; coordinates held only in a sidecar reach the editor correctly on video and DNG files; "fill in only what is empty" now applies to GPS fields; protected-field warnings no longer block safe writes on files whose copyright lives only in the sidecar.
• Completion lists now name every processed file, including files that share a name across different folders, and show old → new names with the source folder for every rename.
• File Sort messages show your real filenames instead of Archyv's temporary working names.
• Processing History records the destination folder for File Transfer, not the source.
• Completion summary duration now covers the whole run, including the metadata read at the start.
• Undo now records which photo each companion file travelled with, so a RAW file and a second RAW format sharing a name can no longer have their edit files swapped on undo.
• Hover help beside labels now appears reliably.
